Welcome to Blotr. By accessing and using our multi-broker trading intelligence platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, saving favourites, or otherwise accessing Blotr, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Blotr. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not prohibited from accessing or using our services under applicable law.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your account. Blotr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Use of the Service
4.1 What Blotr Provides
Blotr aggregates and presents information about assets, underlyings, and the instruments offered by brokers across asset classes, so you can browse and compare them in one place. You may also create an account to save favourites and sync them across the web and mobile apps.
4.2 Data Accuracy
We work to keep broker and instrument information accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free. Always confirm details directly with the relevant broker before making any trading decision.
4.3 Access and Fees
Browsing assets and comparing brokers is provided free of charge. Where we offer paid features in future, the applicable terms and pricing will be made clear before you subscribe, and we reserve the right to modify them with reasonable notice.
5. No Investment Advice
Blotr is an information and comparison platform. We are not a broker, dealer, or financial adviser, and we do not execute trades, hold client funds, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. Trading carries risk, including the risk of losing more than your initial deposit; you are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consider seeking independent advice.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff
• Use automated systems to scrape, copy, or redistribute our data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Blotr, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Blotr or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
8. User Content
By submitting content to Blotr (such as feedback, support requests, or other communications), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that content in connection with operating and improving our platform. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations
Blotr is an information and comparison platform. We are not a party to any trading you carry out with a broker and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data presented. THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOTR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blotr, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any rights of another party.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or your use of Blotr shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Blotr operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
